| Here is a new SweetPea & Violets' venture: Along with the Knit & Crochet (SweetPea & Violets' specialty) is a love of Sewing. I, myself, learned to sew in jr. high school - part of the then economics curriculum no longer in evidence in many of our school systems. I have had many projects completed over the years - from general home sewing, to my youngest daughter's Drill Team Uniforms (all 30 of them!), to the Bridesmaid dress she wore at a dear friend's wedding. Oh, and let's not forget the doll-crafting over the years. I do love to sew. In light of all that, I recently came across this wonderful opportunity - one which couples my love of the little ones with the utilization of my skills in home-sewing to teach children the art of sewing. If you'd like for a special child to benefit from skills gained in learning to sew for him/herself - or would like to hone your own skill, for that matter - please email or call for more information. We'll supply you with all you need to know to participate in upcoming classes. |
