| I've always loved Art... Animation (those favorite childhood cartoons) paintings, sculpture. Tangible guilty evidence was a first "drawing" at age 4 - an inked elephant to decorate the formerly prestine front cover of a prized encyclodepia volume (one of a precious set) to my mother's dismay. I kept on drawing, utilizing more appropriate media. Paper dolls began in 3rd grade. Art classes in junior high, and later on at college level - along with those requisite courses in Art History, just so I'd have a thorough understanding of my work - and that of my great, renowned predecessors. Intimidating, that. But, I kept on in those early years - if sporadically. Here showcased are a few favorites... some by me, & some favorite photos by my son. |

| Okay, I admit it... I have a vice. I love dolls. Cloth, porcelain, vinyl... Felt and carved wood. There are some gorgeous collectible (or not) dolls out there - not to mention the artistry of those much-sought after Antiques. But, after all that - I still love my Paper Dolls best... |
